Symantec will retire the PC Tools brand on December 4, 2013
Back in April we already reported that PC tools Security line will not be available for sale or renewal from May 18, 2013. Now we have evidence that Symantec will retire the PC Tools brand on Wednesday, December 4, 2013
After five years with the PC Tools brand which includes Security products such as Spyware Doctor, Internet Security and Utilities products such as File Recover, Performance Toolkit, Privacy Guardian, and Registry Mechanic on Wednesday, December 4, 2013, PC Tools will retire by Symantec.
Customers will continue to receive support until:
End of technical support (bug-fix and patch) = December 4, 2014
End of customer support = December 4, 2015
This includes all phone, email, and knowledge-base support.
