Bitdefender Antivirus for Mac 2016 & Bitdefender Mobile Security 2016

The Bitdefender Antivirus for Mac 2016 and Bitdefender Mobile Security 2016 for Android are now available for beta testing.
The Mac and Android products are part of Bitdefender Total Security Multi-Device 2016 Pack.

Bitdefender Antivirus for Mac 2016 includes:

Automatic Updates - No need to manually update the engine if you are connected to the cloud. The antivirus system does it on its own to provide the best protection to your Mac, with up-to-date malware information.
Full scan/Scheduled Scan/Quick Scan - Scan the computer thoroughly or schedule the scans on Sundays- It allows you complete freedom to use it as you please. Plug in a flash drive and choose custom scans to make sure that you don’t become the transmitter or receiver of malware.
Anti-Phishing Protection - The antivirus not only keeps watching your computer but also the internet. It does not let you wander near websites which are known to be malicious or are fake copies. Even if you get inside one, the system warns the user with a “growl”.
Fast - The antivirus gets its speed from the New scanning technology which minimizes the scan time by adapting to your computer.

Known issues

Switch account might not work in 100% of cases
Sometimes the communication between Bitdefender Central and the device might not work. Restart the device as a workaround.

OS X version 10.8.5 or newer

Bitdefender Mobile Security 2016 includes:

Uses in-the-cloud services to defend your Android device against viruses and spyware
Helps users remotely find their mobile device
Remotely lock, send message to, or wipe device, in case of loss or theft of the smartphone or tablet
Gives advance warning of risky websites when browsing on your mobile device
Now you can start a full malware scan on any of your Android devices directly from Bitdefender Central. After the scan command was executed you will see the status in Bitdefender Central for that device.

Known issues

Anti-theft and Google Checkout are not available for this Beta version
Login and autodeploy can be done only via Wi-Fi. It doesn’t work via Mobile Data (3G, 4G etc.)
Remote scan commands don’t display progress on the device
